It’s no surprise that some people struggle with the stage of their lives navigating as empty nesters. Counselors and therapists, life coaches, Bible studies and social media groups focus on bridging the middle-aged from active parent to adult child consultant. Seems like some switch successfully, while others flail then fail. Here are musings from someone trying to conquer the quicksand myself.
